Twisted Mango Margarita
The mango and lime will tingle your taste buds! Serve these margaritas at a party for your closest friends.
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1/4 cup fresh lime juice 3 tablespoons superfine granulated sugar 1 cup water 1 1/2 cups diced peeled ripe mango 1/3 cup golden rum 2 tablespoons Cointreau or other orange liqueur 2 cups ice cubes Mango wedges for garnish
Method:
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, add the lime juice, sugar and water and bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Let cool and then place the mixture in a blender with the mango, rum and Cointreau. Blend all of the ingredients until smooth. Add the ice cubes to glasses and fill with the beverage mixture. Garnish with mango wedges and serve.
