Ginger Tea

Ginger can also relieve symptoms of menopause, such as headaches and hot flashes. Otherwise, this refreshing tea is delicious added to a green tea, or make your own ginger tea. It's nice served with a helping of pre-made ginger snaps.
Note: Read the label of store-bought ginger snaps that may have the flavor of ginger when you bite into them, but actually contain no ginger at all in the list of ingredients.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

5 cups water
1 large knob fresh ginger

Method:

In a small saucepan coated with DuPont™ Teflon® non-stick, heat 5 cups water to boiling. Meanwhile, remove the skin from the ginger with a vegetable peeler and then cut thin slices, amounting to about 1/2 cup.

Pour the boiling water into 4 mugs and evenly divide the ginger among the cups. Let steep for about 5 minutes and serve.
